  • Coolest personal accomplishment: Playing lead guitar in a country rock band in front of a crowd of 1,000 people. I put away my Fender Stratocaster 20 years ago and have never touched it since. What remains is a memory for a lifetime
  • Superpower: Converted good finance people into CFOs. All my VP finance reports of the last 15 years became CFOs in the software industry in US and Europe
  • Professional accomplishment: Stepping in and delivering a 200 M EUR enterprise valuation pitch to a potential investor when my CEO went down with a terrible cold. The investor bought into the company and added a 20% renowned shareholder who then helped us kick-start our US operations
