Swiss Post Acquires Open Systems, Accelerating Innovation in Managed SASE Services
Zurich, October 21, 2024 - Swiss Post has successfully acquired Open Systems, a leading provider of native, managed SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) solutions. The acquisition, completed in Q4 2024, empowers Open Systems to accelerate its product and service innovations while continuing to operate as a standalone entity. The closing took place on 21 October 2024.
Open Systems will continue to deliver its leading services to customers around the globe, enhancing its ability to meet the growing demand for secure and efficient Managed SASE.
A Strategic Move to Accelerate Growth and Innovation
“Swiss Post’s investment in Open Systems is a testament to our long-term strategy and commitment to providing the best-in-class SASE Experience,” said Daniel Neuhaus, CEO of Open Systems. “This acquisition offers a unique opportunity for sustainable growth, allowing us to continue delivering an outstanding service quality that our customers rely on, while doubling down on our investments in product innovation and platform expansion. We are excited about the future and confident that this partnership will help us accelerate both, our product development and customer experience initiatives.”
The global demand for managed SASE solutions has seen explosive growth, and the partnership between Swiss Post and Open Systems places the latter in an optimal position to capitalize on this trend.
A Partnership Built on Shared Values
As part of the acquisition, Open Systems will continue to operate independently, maintaining its distinctive brand and culture.
“We share a common Swiss heritage with Swiss Post, along with a commitment to trust, reliability, and security,” continued Neuhaus.
The acquisition is expected to have significant benefits for Open Systems’ customers worldwide, particularly in terms of expanding its service capabilities and continuing to enhance its innovative solutions. Swiss Post’s strategic investment in Open Systems strengthens its position as a trusted provider of network and cybersecurity solutions globally.
About Open Systems
Open Systems is an AI-first SASE platform company delivering secure access and networking to help enterprises connect users, applications and infrastructure across complex hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
