At its heart is the Open Systems AI Matrix: a team of specialized AI agents built on 35 years of operational decisions from the company’s own network operations and accessed through a single AI operator named Lucy. Customers choose how much they want to run themselves: operate the platform directly, augment their team with AI, or have Open Systems run it end to end. They can evolve between operating models without changing platforms or providers.
Open Systems is also disclosing what is live today, what is rolling out and what comes next, and will continue to publish status against that roadmap.
The Industry Has an Honesty Problem
Every security vendor now claims AI. Almost none will say what their AI is made of, which parts run in production today, and which parts are a slide in a deck. Buyers are asked to take it on faith. The faith is expensive, and the bill arrives during an incident.

Open Systems does not rely on one generic “AI”, but on a team of specialized agents, each with one operational job. Customers do not have to manage that complexity themselves: they interact with one operator, Lucy. Behind Lucy sits the Open Systems AI Matrix: six specialized agents, each focused on a single operational domain.
Hermes understands live traffic and paths. Argus handles web and email gateway operations. Lex reads policy and rules. Atlas handles rollout and provisioning. Prometheus brings foresight, using operational precedents to anticipate failures before they happen. Calli turns operational data into reporting and evidence.
Customers do not address, buy or configure these specialists separately. They report to Lucy. Lucy reports to the customer.

Lucy: One Interface to the Matrix
Lucy is the customer-facing operator and single point of contact for the AI Matrix. Today, Lucy explains what a firewall rule actually does in plain language. She shows why traffic was blocked and links straight to the evidence. She traces where an IP object is referenced, runs permission checks, and helps diagnose proxy and secure web gateway problems without anyone jumping between multiple consoles.
Lucy diagnoses, explains and proposes. Changes are executed only with the customer’s approval. As the specialists behind Lucy roll out, her capabilities increase without adding more tools for customers to learn.
The AI Matrix gets more sophisticated. The customer experience gets simpler.
Beyond the Core Team
Two additional AI capabilities sit outside Lucy’s core team.
Nemesis, the Open Systems Red Team, is live today. It brings offensive security to the customer side, identifying weaknesses and exploitable attack paths before attackers do.
Kratos, coming soon, brings active generative deception to the network, creating intelligent decoys designed to turn attacker activity into high-confidence signal.
Unlike the six specialists behind Lucy, Nemesis and Kratos are separate capabilities customers choose to enable. Their findings can still feed back through Lucy, keeping her the single operational interface.
Guardrails Before Autonomy
The phased rollout is deliberate. Before an enterprise allows AI to act on its security posture, it needs to know what the AI is permitted to do, where its boundaries lie and who is accountable when it gets something wrong.
Each specialist is released only once those guardrails have been defined, tested and made auditable. Level-3 engineers set the boundaries and remain accountable for every critical decision.
Open Systems believes transparency about what is live and what is not is part of that accountability.
Sovereignty You Can Audit, Not a Flag on a Slide
Open Systems anchors sovereignty not only in technology, but in ownership and governance. The company is part of Swiss Post, providing a transparent Swiss ownership structure alongside its technical approach to data sovereignty.
